We are a Miccosukee family owned and operated business. Our founder, William "Buffalo" Tiger was the last of the traditional leaders of the Miccosukee people and the first elected Chairman when the Miccosukee Tribe received federal recognition in 1960. After Mr. Tiger left office, he established his airboat tours and was still very active in education about the Everglades and the Miccosukee people. Our tribe lost a great leader and wise elder when Mr. Tiger passed on in January 2015. Today, we still follow in his foot steps to educate the public and to share the beauty and wonder that is our home the "River of Grass" also known as the Florida Everglades.
WEATHER
Rainy Season has started. As long as conditions are safe we still conduct tours. Bring rain coats or ponchos with you. You should also check the weather forecast. We do recommend you bring sunscreen and bug spray. This time of year it can be hot and humid plus a little "buggy" with mosquitos.
