Ferraro's Kitchen Restaurant & Wine Bar, Miami
Igor Ferraro is a native of Venice (Italy), where, from an early age, he was introduced to the world of wines and genuine products by his father, a producer of wine in the area of Bassano del Grappa - distinguished for the production of the Asparago Bianco DOP and the most famous Grappa.
Upon completing his studies in the hospitality industry, and becoming a sommelier, he deepened his vocation for food and wine in Italy and abroad.
His experience in the restaurant business took him from the historic wine cellar in Venice, "Il Calice" to several places in Europe and to Rome where he opened a successful cooking school.
In 2012, Igor Ferraro opened "Tramezzo", a gastro-pub in Rome with a focus on famous Venetian dishes and Tramezzini.
Tramezzo now is among the top gastro-bars in Rome.
In late Fall 2013, Igor Ferraro brought his Italian cuisine to the Restaurant "La Bottega in Miami" with the intention of bringing his Italian passion and experience of simple regional recipes using natural and top-quality Italian products.
After two years, he opened, with his wife Cristiana, his own restaurant "Ferraro's Kitchen" in the upcoming area of Mimo District (between Morningside and Miami Shores) just a few minutes from the beach.
In addition to food and wine events, Chef Igor is offering interactive cooking classes which fully involve participants in the preparation of recipes.
