Atchana’s Homegrown Thai is owned and operated by Atchana Capellini. The Chuaindhara family came to the states in the late 70’s and Atchana grew up surrounded by food in the kitchen at her parents’ various Thai restaurants in South Florida. She ran the hugely successful Thai restaurant, Siam Lotus Room, (lovingly known as the Ugly Green Building), for several years, where some of her most loyal patrons had their first taste of Thai. Atchana opened Atchana’s East West Kitchen at The Mutiny Hotel in 2008 and her menu reflects the many flavors of her life. Atchana is now embarking on her newest venture, Atchana’s Homegrown Thai.
Carrying on the foundation started by her parents, Atchana is passionate about maintaining the family’s tradition of providing darn good, homegrown Thai cuisine. Herbs and spices are locally farm grown and every element of dining at Atchana’s is a sensory experience.
